With Obstetric Shared Care, your GP provides most of your pregnancy care with minimal hospital visits required. If any complications develop during your pregnancy, your doctor will refer you back to the hospital for specialist care as required. Hospital doctors and midwives will care for you during labour and birth, and your GP provides the care after discharge from hospital for you and your baby. Several of the Crafter Health doctors are accredited to provide you with shared care: Dr Johanna Kilmartin, Dr Wendy Murchland and Dr Kerry Vlahos.
The doctors at Crafter Health are committed to chronic disease management, and as part of a comprehensive approach, health management plans for people with chronic conditions requiring an inter-disciplinary team approach are available, ensuring these patients have access to proactive and personalized healthcare.
In addition to this, the holistic chronic disease management program includes tailored health care plans, allied health referrals, and regular reviews by your GP. These consultations for health management plans provide an inclusive and accessible avenue for proactive health management.
To enquire about the Chronic Disease Management program, please speak to your doctor.
Your doctor can discuss all of your contraceptive options, and advise what would be most suitable for your particular needs and stage of life. Several of the doctors are also accredited for Implanon insertion and removal. Please book with your doctor to discuss further.

The practice stocks the full range of recommended childhood vaccinations. Regular patients of the practice book directly for these with the Practice nurse. New patients will require an initial appointment with the doctor prior to the vaccination. Please see your doctor for Meningococcal B vaccination, as you will require a prescription.
Adult vaccinations and booster doses can be booked with the practice nurse or at the time of consultation with your doctor.
Each year Crafter Health runs dedicated “flu clinics”. These generally take place in April and May prior to the winter flu season.
Patients are seen by a doctor and nurse. Details of times and dates for the clinics will be posted on this website closer to the time or by phoning 8272 5533.
Flu vaccination is recommended annually for patients 65 years and over and in patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes, asthma and cardiac conditions. In these groups, the vaccine is provided at no cost to the patient through government funding. Patients in low-risk groups can receive the non-government funded flu vaccine which costs $27.50. The consultation in both cases is bulk-billed.
